Sometime in June 2007, Cirque du Soleil emailed me and asked if I’d like to work for them in Macau. Well, if I’d like to interview. And they only emailed me because I’d submitted my resume online to them a few months prior to that. But it makes a good story anyway. So I said “Sure”. As you do.
At the time of writing, I have a contract, a flight date, and a lot of boxes to pack. Soon, I hope to have an apartment, an idea of what I’m actually doing, and a whole new culture to play in. Two new cultures, if you count Cirque as well. So this is where I’ll be documenting it, posting photos, telling you all about the best places for Yum Cha and computer shopping in Old Macau.
